What up family? We recently got together for Easter and as usual we met at a huge park in Riverside, Ca. It was nice and sunny perfect for a nice relaxing day at the park with great food, good times and egg hunting. Here are some of the youngsters in the family, all of my cousins kids plus my boy chilling it looks like they had an awesome time.
My cousin Isamar frying some “Pollito” and check out the can on the left, someone is hiding that “bote” from the cops.
Once it came to hiding the eggs they got scattered every where. They even ended up in one of my shoes and in the tray with all the chicken, I couldn’t stop grubbing on the “Pollo”.
My dad and my Tio Tiano from Mexicali. Because of this dude I started playing soccer in a small Mexican league in Ontario, Ca the team was called Celaya, those days were awesome.
Yessenia was enjoying the day with with the family eating a lot of Carne Asada and relaxing by the shade of the big ass trees.
It was Julian’s first Easter where he actually went and looked for the eggs, he didn’t understand it first but then he got it. He got a bunch of “Huevos” even though my mom and Yessenia helped him find most of them. Cheaters.
Right after the egg hunt we had to start a little 4v4 soccer game with another family that was right next to us. This dude which I had never ever met in my life balled the hell out of everyone. Honestly he’s got skills and he’s only 8, someone has to recruit this guy ASAP. The game was fun as usual and this year I really got tired, man I’m out of shape.
Mom’s was chilling, she turned 60 last Friday and still is going hard at it. Waking up early to make my dad’s lunch, cooking and cleaning and all of the great stuff an old school Mexican mom knows how to do. Gracias Jefa.
Finally after eating a bunch of Carne Asada, Pollo Frito, drinking a Bote played a little game, I was all good to go, said good bye to the family and headed on home where I relaxed and ended a nice Sunday at the park. Until next time when we meet again. It was fun.
