Here’s a sneek peak to our upcoming Halloween and Day of the Dead Collection. More to be announced as soon as I’m done with the collection. Suave Pues.

Our good friends over at Surropa hooked up Pablo Alsina from the show “The Arena” on Mun2s with a DIMEX LIMITED EDITION Mi Santito Tee Shirt, he rocked it during Sundays Episode and it looked sick. Make sure to catch his show every Sunday at 10PM. Damn DIMEX on TV, “Ay Vamos”
. Thank you Surropa and Pablo, much props to you guys. Here’s the picture, enjoy.

On Friday I felt like doing something special to brighten the store up a little. I started on a project for the wall on the side of our storefront, a project that will be refreshed every month or so. Our first design that is going to be wheat pasted on the wall is El Tuerto, in commemoration of the Bicentennial Celebrations that will be happening on the month of September. Come through and check out some of our product check out the piece or just to kick it. Here are some pictures of the process, I will be posting the final piece in the next couple days. Clikeale a la liga. Good Night.

“PERRO QUE LADRA, NO MUERDE” is the this weeks “DICHO”. Dog that barks never bites is what it translates to, meaning as much as a person talks crap to you, in the end they never act on it, they just run their mouth, kinda like when you pass by a house and a dog starts barking at you, never show fear because he will win the mind game of “Who runs this little yard”. When I was little there was a lot of kids that picked on me since I looked different then others in school, I would wear either Thrift store or Yard sale clothes while the other kids would wear all the sick brands that you would buy in the mall, my hair was simply huge kinda like an afro but not the cool type, I didn’t rock a fade and my shoes were old and used. They would talk a lot of crap but never did anything, until on day I got fed up and got into a couple of fights because of this but I’m good now, hehe. Remember let people talk all the crap they want and keep doing and being the way you love, forget everything else. Have a great weekend.

El Tuerto is one of our newest additions to the DIMEX Collection, Inspired by Antonio Aguilar and all of his Revolutionary movies. I have been a huge Antonio Aguilar fan since I was little, I used to sing towards the boom box my aunt had in her living room, I would wear my botas, a sombrero and I would play a messed up guitar that only had one string on it. My favorite song then and today has to be “Albur De Amores”. This is my homage to the “mero mero” Don Antonio Aguilar.
Gustavo Galindo is singer-songwriter whose style melds the musical landscapes of Latin rhythms and melodies with the sonic textures of American rock. It reminds me a lot of one of my other favorite song writers John Legend. I hope everything goes great with his career, check out his first Music Video, it’s pretty cool and the girls are hot. Enjoy.

Christian at his desk working on a design for a fake baseball team, called Los Burros de Tijuana. He is a hard worker he came in today and opened the store at 8am. He takes the bus to work to save money; it is a three hour trip from home. For this image I used my friend’s Nikon 35mm at F/2.0. ISO at 800.
