Very few kids in the world get to meet a professional player, yet play against one. What the Portland Timbers a team from the MLS Soccer League did for a boy who was diagnosed with cancer is something truly amazing, by fulfilling his dream to play against the Portland Timbers. I honestly think all teams should do this during every half time, it’s fun and entertaining for the fans but for the kids it’s a dream come true. Check it out. #TimberWish
Only a few Gringos dare to make the decision on going to a Mexico Vs USA soccer game at the Azteca in Mexico City. I have heard horrible stories of fights, tipped over buses and cups filled with pee flying in the air showering los Gueros. But this group decided to support their National team and weren’t going to turn back, check out this mini video of that same experience at our last 0-0 tie with the USA. I must admit they are fucking brave. Enjoy.
I am not a huge Real Madrid fan but love how some of their players perform, including Iker Casillas and Cristiano Ronaldo. These guys have developed their bodies to adapt to the conditions soccer brings to the table. I was surprised to see the results that were given to Ronaldo after being put to the test, they were incredible. Make sure you watch the other three videos on You Tube, Check it out.
I watched the final and was full of joy when we took the gold. But how do you get to become a gold medal winner. Aside of training very hard since you are very small and a bunch of opportunities lining up to define your future you have to have love for the game, and I believe all of these players representing one country had that during tis competition. Un poco de inspiracion para empesar el año. I’m sorry for not posting that often, these past couple of weeks have been a little weird and have not felt like working that much. My day job is really taking most of my energy and by the time I am home I’m already running on fumes. It’s not that it’s hard work or they are working me to death it’s the fact that I am sitting in a desk designing some stuff that doesn’t take that much to come up with. The Homeless World Cup 2012. WTF. Man I wish I would of played, but it seems like the players in the Seleccion had to go a long way to actually make it in the National Team. Passion, team work and dedication is what makes a good soccer player and team. Madron FC has lost all of their games in the past tournaments but seem to come out stronger as they continue playing. Not caring or giving up they improve by not receiving more then 30 goals like they are used to. Con ganas se puede aunque el juego sea algo amistoso.
Finally a victory we can say was a good one, we played well the ref. helped us out a bit but all in the name of soccer.
