This picture was taken at the Veterans Soccer fields in Pomona, CA. I was playing and Yessenia as usual got bored and started playing with the camera on my iphone. Out of all the pictures she took this one looks the best. Maybe she was a photographer in her past life, “Quien sabe”. Enjoy.

Christian at his desk working on a design for a fake baseball team, called Los Burros de Tijuana. He is a hard worker he came in today and opened the store at 8am. He takes the bus to work to save money; it is a three hour trip from home. For this image I used my friend’s Nikon 35mm at F/2.0. ISO at 800.

Hello all this is Lucio, the DIMEX intern, I asked Christian about starting a picture of the week on the blog. He agreed. From now on, starting today, I will post a picture about anything related to the DIMEX brand.

And what better way to start off the Picture of the Week than the man behind DIMEX:

Christian Vidauarrazaga, 26, is the owner of DIMEX.
DIMEX is a clothing line he started in 2007 and began selling his tee shirts online. Now he has a store located near downtown Pomona on 152 W. Holt Ave. The store opened April 24, 2010.

“Its going slow,” said Vidauarrazaga “but its slowly picking up.”

This Saturday the 31st Hydro 74 will be visiting the DIMEX Store, he will be giving away some cool prints and a lot of dope goodies. Hydro74 is a well know freelance artist that works out of his office in Orlando Florida. He has worked on projects with namebrands from Nike to Toy companies like Hasbro. Saludotes amigos aqui yo muy contento por la gran apertura de la primera tienda oficial de DIMEX en la ciudad de Pomona, CA. I cannot express how happy I am right now, one of my biggest dreams has come true, our DIMEX STORE is finally open. I really want to than all the great friends who helped out on this difficult task starting off with all the people who put their hard work into the development of the store. Yessica Martinez for being a great business partner, Maria Martinez for letting us use her credit for a small loan thank you señora, Ricardo Vidaurrazaga my dad for helping me with the initial setup of the stores backbone, Ana Elsa Angulo mi jefita for helping on taking the ugly ass sticker that was in our storefront window, Ashley My sis for passing out flyers and tagging shirts for me, My best friend Rolando Gutierrez for helping me promote online, Rene Chavez and brothers for helping set the sickest looking floor in all Pomona, the unknown contractors that ripped me off but did a great job on painting the store front, Jonathan Salazar for helping on our back wall and taking the purple carpet off, Don Hector who helped me remove the old lights and replace them with some more modern ones, Jose for making and installing not only the sickest channel sign in the Inland Empire but for providing for the sickest looking wraps the store has. Julian my son for handing me the hammer and last but not least thank “Las Ganas, de sobresalir en Los Estados Unidos. Mi familia y amigos estan muy orgullosos y yo muy feliz de poder compartir las creaciones unicas de DIMEX. Los miro pronto y saludos.
