Love when latinos step up to different styles of music and succeed. Victoria Acosta killed it while singing “Big girls don’t cry” but when she was asked to sign a Mariachi song she destroyed the stage. I hope she goes far in this competition even though she doesn’t need approval from any of these artist to be successful, chekalo.
Chicano Park this year was a full success. We go there on time, well sort of, pero llegamos. We set up and got ready for a day filled with good times and lot’s of sales. Since we were really busy Yessenia went out and took all of the pictures for this post, gracias Yess. Here’s a dope image of some of the fixed up Low Riders that were being exhibited at the show.
Here’s a nice little altar, kinda like the ones you see in the streets and highways in Mexico. I love the colorful layout.
Our booth looked clean as always. We were displaying all of our product from the DIMEX store as well as some new stuff. Our new Sticker pack just rocked the show.
There are murals all over the park, this one was one of my favorites, La Virgensita De Guadalupe in a younger form, it’s kind of amazing knowing that vehicles are passing through the top of these pillars at 80 miles per hour.
One of our first customers was this little boy, he got, well his parents bought him the new El Che Tee for kids. I had to have a picture hehe.
There was a lot of car clubs all over the park most of them were completely pimped out, they looked amazing.
Jarabe Tapatio, I think that’s what it’s called.
I want to thank all of the people that came to the booth and took a flyer, I know that you will like our stuff. To all the customers that bought product for the first time and didn’t know we even existed, and to the people’s that came through and chatted with us for a while, taking the time to chill with us. Mil Gracias. See ya next year.
