Corridos Monday El Komander Leyenda M1, once more a corrido about Manuel Torres Felix that got killed on 13 October 2012 by the Mexican Army. This song talks about his death and how he lived his life who he served and how he fought back before being taken out. When his son Atanasio was killed by rival gang members of the Beltrán-Leyva Cartel in 2008, Torres Félix reportedly lost his mind and went on a killing spree, torturing the perpetrators at his home in Culiacán. This earned him the nickname of “El Ondeado” (‘The Crazy One’) for his emotional instability and explosive personality.. Todays corrido has a pretty cool Banda + Norteno combination that goes together very well, miralo.

What up guys I am on time today for the “Corridos Monday” post, ahuevo. My homie Julio said that there’s this new trio called Los Hijos del Barron and that they are sick (he mentioned them since we were talking about Jesus Ojeda) he was saying that Los hijos were from his home town and that his family knew them. Yesterday on my way home from the Swap Meet I was listening to La QUE BUENA and this Corrido came on, told my girl to keep it quiet since I wanted to hear the song, and i’m not gonna lie but the dude playing Bajo sexto is sick. I like the song and couldn’t get it out of my head for the rest of the night, I don’t know why, but anyways here’s the song and hope you like it. Fierro!
