It’s about time, all these teasers were driving me crazy. I was waiting for the release of this video for a while now, ever since I heard the rolita on You Tube before the actual album came out I immediately thought this shit is going to be a hit and honestly it’s probably my favorite song in the whole album. It talks about a character who is if I had to guess doing really good in the game right now, this guy owns some sick vehicles and is known for hiring some of the most famous Mexican bands, oh and did I mention he owns a couple of wild cats, yes I’m talking about Lions like in the video if you don’t believe me check out this guys Tumblr account and see for your self. Craziness, anyways I love the song and the video is alright. Chekalo.
It’s been a couple of weeks since they announced that the DAMASO music video was coming and still no sign but the teasers keep coming and I already want to see it. I hope it’s pretty good and not just a bunch of scenes at a race or something like that. Check out the teaser.
“Tambien me gusta la fiesta, Pasear las fresas de Culiacan a Guadalajara, Jalar la banda, Aguas heladas, mi empresa paga y que a mi gente no le falte nada” -Damaso
Pretty cool performance of one of my favorite jams right now. DAMASO, check out the performance after the jump.
A little late but finally here. El Primer Ministro by Gerardo Ortiz, honestly one of my favorite jams from his new album, love the story and aggressiveness of the way it is told, this is story telling the fullest. Corridos are evolving and becoming something else and all thanks to the creation style of the new comers to the game. Chekalo.
Rolita Nueva, pues no tan nueva, it’s from Gerardo’s latest Album “Entre Dios Y El Diablo”. I still wish they did a cool ass video for one of his corridos, I’m not sure why they don’t but it would be different and if this dude is about breaking the status quo then it would be a perfect idea. Just saying. This video is pretty nice and it looks like they spent a lot of money. Enjoy.
Aqui les afirmo, nuevo progressive Corrido. This dude surprises me every time he comes up with a new album, this song is off the hook in corrido standards it’s honestly the best one yet. Listen to it live after the jump.
