I’ll be honest with you, I really don’t care about the elections or politics as you may know by now, but this mini reportaje about the origins of the current candidate for the presidency Mitt Romney is pretty cool. Vice has become one of my favorite producers of mini documentaries. I always visit their site and spend like a million hours viewing their videos as well as looking for anything new hehe, it’s kinda hard to find stuff but it works. When I used to live in Guaymas there was a crazy dude that used to walk around in the street holding his pants up with one hand and touching everything he saw with the other. They called him “Cirilo”. According to my moms he used to be a really good kid and worked for for his dad in the family “abarrotes” store (Like a Home Depot). After a while he started stealing the glue they sold and started a glue sniffing/drug problem. This is the story according to the Jefa but you know parents always making up stuff so you yourself don’t get the urge to try crazy shit. Check out this cool little spot on Pastor/Artist Jose Antonio Galvan from ciudad Juarez Chihuahua Mexico. His artwork is pretty gnarly but his asylum for dudes like “Cirilo” is a good human thing to do. Enjoy.
Buenos Dias raza, today I’m posting this cool mini documentary about the Mexican Elections and the drug war, how most of the candidates just promise the same ol’ bullshit and don’t even address a new plan to control the war. They simply forget that the country is suffering a massive war that has put fear into many Mexican lives. VICE always does an amazing job doing these type of informal videos and I hope you guys like it. Saludos.
