Many times I have listen to this song and just wondered on what would Saul Hernandez do to get inspired and create such pieces of art. The guy is a poet by heart that converted his pieces into great songs with the help of Los Caifanes. The Exploding Cell, even the name is deep, enjoy this Caifanes piece.
Taking a trip down to my home town is a huge blessing, many Latinos don’t have the luxury to take that annual trip to their beloved home town specially if it’s many hours/days away on either a bus or car and mainly since they don’t have “Papeles”. On my last trip I went to La Manga a small town made up of fisherman that have payed rent to build their homes right in front of the beach. Sitting in my chair looking out at the sea and the surrounding hills that protect the ports from insane hurricanes and weathers just make it that much better. The families relaxing after a hard morning of fishing, the dogs walking around without a care, the abandoned structures that one day will house future retired Mexicans right in front of one of the most beautiful playas in Mexico.

The first time I tried Tapatio hot sauce was when I visited my grandma in Mexicali B.C. back in 1990. She made a wonderful Pozole and asked her to hand me the Huichol chile but she replied that they didn’t have that type of sauce in Chicali, that they would only sell Tapatio hot sauce. So a little bothered by this new hot sauce I added it to my Pozole, mixed it and as soon as I took my first bite I fell in love with the taste. I figured it was the sauce that had given it this different taste. I didn’t get to have Tapatio until two years later when we made our way up to Pomona, CA in search of the American Dream. Todays history day is about the man who started a hot sauce company and changed the nation when it came to Chile. Read the story behind the man after the Jump.
Jesse Hernandez is sick with it. He did it again dropping this brand new piece at the Comic Con Convention 2011 in San Diego. El Bandido Muerto reminded me like crazy of an old corrido called El Bandido Generoso, about a dude that used to steal from the rich to give to the poor, I guess you call that Robin Hood but we ain’t talking English history here we are talking Mexican Culture. Check out some more of his latest pieces and art works at Immortal Studios. Salud

These new Amazing Spider Man photos just got published on Entertainment Weekly a couple of days ago and came upon them just today. From the looks of it the new costume looks amazing and they are going to have the web shooters attached to his arm like in the original cartoon. I just can’t wait any more for this film but a year passes by super fast. I’m huge Spider-Man fan, the funny thing my dad got me into it, he fell for it back when he was little and used to watch the original cartoons, I have tried watching one episode and honestly I just can’t keep watching, it’s super slow compared to the modern episodes but I guess that shit was cool se alucinaban los chamacos, hehe, sales.
What’s up guys after creating the 2011 DIMEX Collection I decided to look for new inspiration for the next upcoming collection which will be ?, that’s why I’m looking around getting inspired by the things I love from the beginning of this brand. I came across this collection of videos from the last MTV Unplugged of Los Tigres del Norte. One of my favorite grupos norteños of all time, many of their songs inspire me to create some of my Vectomex pieces as well part of the previous DIMEX Collections. Check out the whole unplugged concert right here. Get ready to sing some of the oldschool jams, ready, go. Enjoy
