Corazon Del Pueblo threw this dope concert in “La Casa De Mexicano” this past Saturday, we were invited to sell and represent our brand so we headed out to Boyle Heights but before getting there we picked up our Intern Lucio. We were running a little late but we made it on time to pick a good spot and set up. We haven’t been to a show in a while, since this is the way we started we don’t want to stop doing so just because we have a store now, there’s still lots of people who don’t know about the brand and are super surprised when they see the DIMEX style. We had all of our product on dispaly, our clearance bucket, some accessories, and lot’s of give aways. “La Casa De Mexicano” looked amazing, a beautiful mural by Hugo Martinez displaying the history of many Mexicans here in the USA. Since being a muralist was one of my first passions staring at the mural for the whole day was a huge perk, I truly enjoyed it. The concert was cool and packed with a variety of artists, poets, bands, rappers and entertainers. Cihualt-Ce, Olmeca and Guerrilla Queenz were my particular favorites and did a great job involving the crowd with their performance. Overall the show was cool and was very fortunate to be invited to it, thanks to all the people’s who put it together, great job. Enjoy
Hello everyone, this is Lucio Villa the new intern for DIMEX. Let me tell you a little bit about me: I grew up in the city of Compton, CA and moved here to Pomona, CA for school. My passion is photography and multimedia. I love to travel and I always carry along my camera everywhere I go. Check out my photo blog at http://www.luciovilla.wordpress.com. Here at DIMEX I will be helping out with the photography, of course, creating designs for the web and help market the clothing line. I am glad to be a part of DIMEX and I know I will have fun and learn a lot from this company. Paz.
The “Playera Of The Day” has to be “La Batalla” in it’s new shirt color black. “Batalla” was added to the collection two years ago when it was set up for a girls turquoise tee shirt, the design was put together when I did two similar designs from the same template one of them being “Batalla” and the second one of “El Nocturno” the same character dressed in his tuxedo ready for the celebration after a great victory. We can consider the design a classic. Enjoy.
Our “Playera Of The Day” has to be “El Jaguar”, available for Men only at our online store and at our DIMEX store in Pomona, CA. Our “El Jaguar” Shirt is one of the original DIMEX designs, based on Mayan culture the “El Jaguar” shirt has been one of our most popular “Playeras” that’s why it has made it into our “Playera of the day”.
I think everyone has been waiting for the real deal for a while now, since it was introduced in the Robert Rodriguez film Planet Terror. Well here it is finally and ready to roll. All I have to say is that Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez look fine. Enjoy.
