Wild Things

Every-time I would go to a Thrift store or Yard Sale I would see this book laying there, but I never got the urge to pick it up or look at it for more then a second.  Now that I see what the movie is going to be like I wish I had bought it.  The cover is the reason why I remember this book, the big monster chillin in the forrest looking all dirty and shit.

The movie looks dope, check it.

This is not a Circus.  Well I had to tell the Neighborhood watchmen it was, but in the end he knew what it was and didn’t say anything in fact he asked me for a copy of Cepillin’s Movie Poster.  He said “this is good, I’m not taking down these posters, this is us”  I was super happy to hear this from the person in charge of this neighborhood that has been scarred for life with a violent past.

Echo Park is crazy.

After that I went to my printer guy who had my order ready, while he bagged my inventory I shot some pictures of some of my screens.  This is Muerto waiting to be cleaned.

On the Way home on Olympic Blvd. I bumped into a big festival behind a restaurant, turned out to be The Mexica New Year Event.  I didn’t get many pictures of this but it was popping.  After that I stopped at a Taqueria next to it and had some Cabeza tacos with hand made Tortillas and a bottled coke, kind of reminded me of last month when I was in Guaymas.  Ahh I love our food.

Puro Pedo Magazine Scholarship Funds

Thursday was a good day for a show, jeje. So we went to Cal State North ridge for the Third Puro Pedo Magazine Scholarship Fundraiser, this time we made it on time and found the place without any problems. That means I’m getting more familiar with LA and it’s surroundings, jeje.




Saw some pretty cool artwork, photographs and dope performances. Los Poets Del Norte Truly ripped it up in the stage closing the show.


Jarritos was there supporting the cause by giving away their most popular flavors quenching the thirst of a long walk into the Grand Salon.

Love this piece.
