Back in 2001, the year I graduated from High School. I was in a little group called MECHA. We practiced every week on our traditional Latino dancing skills, so by the end of the year we would perform in an assembly thrown together every year for our group. Thanks to this I learned how to dance Cumbia, Salsa and Merengue. This song is the one that truly got stuck into my head ever since, so I googled it and found it. “Juliana Que Mala Ere, Que Mala Eres Juliana”. It’s coo but if you rehearse to it, it gets pretty annoying.

Different is Good

So I was looking thru my closet and saw that half of my shirts now are printed and not ironed-on.  Made me happy to see that it’s coming all together little by little.  Along time ago I gave up wearing other brands and started sporting my own designs, just cause everyone has the same shit.  Different is good, something I have learned the hard way.

90.7 Travel Tips For Aztlan

Every now and then I get invited to cool radio and TV shows for a  quick interview and run down on what DIMEX is all about.  This time my friend from My-space MariLuz found my profile and asked me if I wanted to come out in a radio show for a  quick interview, without hesitating I definitely  said yes.  So we arrange to meet on Saturday at 10:30PM in North Hollywood where their radio station is aired.  So we drove from SB with my “check engine” light on in my car but I said what the heck let’s do this.  We got there right away by avoiding the crazy LA traffic by taking the 210 FWY aka the best freeway in the world.  I couldn’t find the place as usual but she told me it was in-front of a Panda Express.

So I finally found it and waited to get buzzed in.  Once inside their was a bunch of people waiting in the same hall where I was waiting, I honestly don’t know who they were but said hi anyways.

They weren’t on the air yet but I was still quiet even-though I was really excited.

Jess was even more nervous then me  thinking I was going to freeze or stutter, something I have fixed over the past years of speaking in public.

Once we were in the room the interview was fun, stutter free and overall a success.  Next to me is MariLuz.

So we finished and said our goodbyes, thanking everyone and exchanging information we started our trip back home.

When we got there Julian was pissed off, because I didn’t take him, jk no he just wanted to go to sleep but kept fighting the urge.
