There’s a beauty to every Mac out there, I have been a Mac Lover since day one and when I saw this beast it was no different. This shit looks like something straight out of the movie Star Wars it looks like Darth Vader’s trash can but I bet it works like a charm. Check out this video on how the new Mac Pro is made, priceless. Enjoy.
One of my favorite artist out there has to be Saner. Straight out of Mexico DF (el DEEFE) he has been inspired by classic works of Diego Rivera, Siqueiro and Orozco and the traditional Mexican wooden masks. You can see the similarities in muralistic styles in his work, if give this foo props for taking his art all over the world and is a true recognized street artist. Los murales son para la gente. Enjoy this mini documentary about Saner.
What up guys, I hope you guys had fun over this long ass weekend, we are back on track, posting, printing, shipping orders, designing and marketing all to bring you the best of the best of this very sick brand called DMXUNO or Dimex or that paisa brand you like so much but forgot the name of it. Here’s a little inspiration for you to start the week, it’s a taco shop own by a Mexican duo called Mexicali Taco and CO. I have to visit this place now since they claim to have the best tacos in LA and to top it off they say they’re “Al Estilo Chicali” I’ll be posting my visit as soon as I go for sure. In case you don’t know where the hell is Mexicali it’s when you cross the border of Calexico down by the Imperial Valley and yes it’s fucking hot as hell but the city has a warm feeling when you visit. I recommend you go at night and don’t take your nice car, cause you will be stopped twice by the cops, once for driving drunk and the second time tens minutes right after for driving too close to a school bus at 5AM by cops dressed like they were going on a special ops mission, FYI just saying. Anyways have a good monday and check out the store. Paisa out.
Antonio Aguilar in Emiliano Zapata, I had to watch this movie the other day and luckily I found it on YouTube. It was little low in quality but it did the trick. Great performance and to top it off in an interview I saw about Antonio he commented that he funded the whole movie and at the time it was the most expensive Mexican Movie ever made it was also shot in his property in Durango, how sick is that?
Here’s the full movie, enjoy.
You can also buy some T-Shirts inspired by this Mexican Icon on our ONLINE STORE.
What were you doing at 4 years old? Playing with your toys, crying for everything you saw and wanted but couldn’t have or still drinking “Teta”? Well these little dudes from Brooklyn started their own band called Unlocking the truth, not just any band a Metal band. Check out this mini interview and mini performance video and wait until the end for some inspiring words on doing things that make you happy, I want to see these dudes at the top. Enjoy.
SEBASTIEN DE LA CRUZ EL CHARRO DE ORO had a wonderful performance and got cowardly picked on by social media members. His interpretation of the American national anthem is probably one of the best I have heard in a long time and I’m not saying this cause he’s a 10 year old singing while wearing a Charro suit but because his performance was sick. I’m just going to say this shit once “Vayan a chingar a su madre pinche, racistas, lacras y gente corriente.” Please watch this video and tell me, “Can it get more American than this?” Welcome to the future “Latino America Unida”.
I have always wanted to travel to India, I have these moments where I need to eat some Indian food and hit up this little local place by my job, although my Indian friend says it’s food prepared by people’s from Pakistan but I love it, who knows and who cares (Tu nomas echale mas pinche chile) at least I can’t taste the difference. Their Bollywood movies are pretty clean too it reminds me of our (Cine Mexicano) and how it’s growing with time by getting better and better. Check out this kid Kilian Martin busting out some crazy ass skateboarding free stlye tricks in one of the oldest countries in the world.
This has to be one of my favorite movies of all time, not only because it’s super funny but because it shows you how fucked up the mother land really is, it really makes you think about “What the fuck is going to happen?” is this situation going to last forever or is it going to evolve into something so out of control it’s not even going to be imaginable to fix it. Anyways, here are some screenshots I thought were key in the movie. Enjoy.
So one day my dad told me to take my old Nikes to the zapatero or shoe maker/fixer, I told him it’s too late for these bad boys they had paid their dues and it was time to retire them. Of course I knew he was messing with me, but then he went on to talk about how shoes lasted forever back in the days, now they tear up all fast and shit and are not worth the money. He used to own one pair and that shit would last him for 2 years, he would walk with them everywhere, fill it up with dirt and water, kick soccer balls and even go into the sea with them but he always had shinny ass shoes. He said he would use this special soap made out of squash and wash his shoes every time they were dirty ass hell. Well I kinda kept the tradition going even when we moved out here but most of my shoes are sneakers now and don’t need that much of the attention. Check out this dude that’s been busy doing this ancient art form for years and has passed on the tradition to his son. Fixing shoes like the shoe maker is a skill that should live on. Shine on.
