SEBASTIEN DE LA CRUZ EL CHARRO DE ORO had a wonderful performance and got cowardly picked on by social media members. His interpretation of the American national anthem is probably one of the best I have heard in a long time and I’m not saying this cause he’s a 10 year old singing while wearing a Charro suit but because his performance was sick. I’m just going to say this shit once “Vayan a chingar a su madre pinche, racistas, lacras y gente corriente.” Please watch this video and tell me, “Can it get more American than this?” Welcome to the future “Latino America Unida”.
I have always wanted to travel to India, I have these moments where I need to eat some Indian food and hit up this little local place by my job, although my Indian friend says it’s food prepared by people’s from Pakistan but I love it, who knows and who cares (Tu nomas echale mas pinche chile) at least I can’t taste the difference. Their Bollywood movies are pretty clean too it reminds me of our (Cine Mexicano) and how it’s growing with time by getting better and better. Check out this kid Kilian Martin busting out some crazy ass skateboarding free stlye tricks in one of the oldest countries in the world.
This has to be one of my favorite movies of all time, not only because it’s super funny but because it shows you how fucked up the mother land really is, it really makes you think about “What the fuck is going to happen?” is this situation going to last forever or is it going to evolve into something so out of control it’s not even going to be imaginable to fix it. So one day my dad told me to take my old Nikes to the zapatero or shoe maker/fixer, I told him it’s too late for these bad boys they had paid their dues and it was time to retire them. Of course I knew he was messing with me, but then he went on to talk about how shoes lasted forever back in the days, now they tear up all fast and shit and are not worth the money. He used to own one pair and that shit would last him for 2 years, he would walk with them everywhere, fill it up with dirt and water, kick soccer balls and even go into the sea with them but he always had shinny ass shoes. He said he would use this special soap made out of squash and wash his shoes every time they were dirty ass hell. Well I kinda kept the tradition going even when we moved out here but most of my shoes are sneakers now and don’t need that much of the attention. Check out this dude that’s been busy doing this ancient art form for years and has passed on the tradition to his son. Fixing shoes like the shoe maker is a skill that should live on. Shine on.
This piece came up on one of my favorite blogs yesterday and had to share it with you guys. It’s called “The Conquest Of The New World By Spanish Conquistadors”, it reminds me a lot to the murals by Siqueiros and Orozco but with a modern twist. It’s funny to hear that there’s water shortage in the world today. It really pisses me off that corporations take natural resources package them and sell them to you for a buck. Doesn’t sound like a bad idea right, well “It fucking is” water shouldn’t be sold at all it should be delivered to your homes without a cost, as well as electricity and gas and all the rest of resources needed to survive as a human being, but hey we are just a bunch of people against some rich corporate greedy ass holes. Check this sick animated video of Abuela Grillo an elderly woman wo travels the lands spreading water as she sings her very soothing tune, but then gets caught by some business men and is whored for here water giving talents. Watch what the people do, what the people should do. Everything for everyone, and nothing for ourselves. Enjoy.

I watched the final and was full of joy when we took the gold. But how do you get to become a gold medal winner. Aside of training very hard since you are very small and a bunch of opportunities lining up to define your future you have to have love for the game, and I believe all of these players representing one country had that during tis competition. I look for inspiration everywhere, toys, art, fashion, sports, movies etc. I have been a huge fan of the LEGO brand for a while now. Today it’s a whole different ball game, Marvel+Lego Video game. The way they put this game together is just too sick. Check out this little video about how they did this.
Un poco de inspiracion para empesar el año. I’m sorry for not posting that often, these past couple of weeks have been a little weird and have not felt like working that much. My day job is really taking most of my energy and by the time I am home I’m already running on fumes. It’s not that it’s hard work or they are working me to death it’s the fact that I am sitting in a desk designing some stuff that doesn’t take that much to come up with. Yes, I’m tired of just sitting there,
